The Black Belt Club is a special three-year membership designed to give the ultimate Martial Arts training experience to students who have Black Belt as a goal. Members of this prestigious program receive many benefits. In addition to discounted memberships, they get a special black belt uniform, a black belt club patch, a membership certificate, a discount on supplies, and school sponsored events, and participation in an extra class for the Taekwondo championship. The only way students can qualify for the Black Belt Club (B.B.C.) is by the instructor’s recommendation. The recommendation is based on effort, attitude, character and their willingness to do the best they can to follow the tenets of Taekwondo. They must have a good attendance record, consistently good academic grades, and a positive attitude in class, at home and toward others. In addition to this, they must present good reports on conduct and attitude from parents and all teachers at school. They must be willing to set new and definitive goals in their study of Taekwondo. Overall, the objective of the B.B.C. is to help its members attain their personal best. As Martial Artists, emphasis is placed on skill and technique, and we always strive to develop our personal skills in order to grow in a well-rounded fashion. The BBC’s endeavor to further cultivate one’s character traits will surely enhance a students’ ability to be successful in all other areas of life.
